Project Stage

A Difficult Situation

Malawi is a landlocked nation in southeastern Africa.

In the southeast corner of Malawi, six pastors are ministering to over two dozen churches. The 5,000 congregants in their care are ravaged by water-borne diseases, famine, and chronic, grinding poverty. But they are rich in spirit! God has also blessed Malawi with natural resources such as mango trees, moringa, and vetiver grass.

Sweetwater is planning a trip in late 2024 to study their water story, to inventory the natural resources, and to evaluate whether Sweetwater can be part of God’s answer to the prayers of the Christians in Malawi for clean water.
