Churches often send teams to bring practical support to their missionaries, in the form of building construction, vehicle maintenance, installing plumbing, and so forth. These efforts unburden your field workers, freeing them to make disciples for Christ through preaching and teaching.

  • Are your missionaries burdened and distracted from evangelism and discipleship due to water stress in their community?
  • Are students unable to attend church services and Bible classes because of water-borne illness?
  • Is water an obstacle to the delivery of the Gospel among the people for whom your congregation has prayerfully invested her resources?

Sweetwater is a 501(c)(3) that provides consultation, water science research, training, and education, all bathed in prayer and with Christ’s glory front and center. Hire us and, with God’s strength, we will equip your church and her missionaries to get over the water obstacle in a manner that helps without hurting. Our methods aim to strengthen interactions between the local church and the lost in their community.

Why Does My Church Hire Sweetwater

HOW Does My Church Hire Sweetwater?

  1. COMMUNICATION Visit with our Director to discuss water interests as they pertain to your missionaries and ministries, budget parameters, time constraints, scientific considerations, short- and long-term objectives, etc. A project outline with specified outcomes will be created.
  2. BUDGET A budget will be proposed that includes the full value and the adjusted 20% value. Sweetwater is a 501(c)(3) that provides research, consultation, education, and training pertaining to sustainable water management. To meet IRS requirements for a “donative element” and cover costs, we charge clients up to 20% of the project value and raise the balance through donations to the project and to our general fund.
  3. FUNDRAISING Your church will be responsible for up to 20% of the project value, on a sliding scale. The remaining 80% of Sweetwater’s expenses can be raised by individuals in your church who donate directly to Sweetwater’s project fund and who engage outside donors, corporate sponsors, and grants.
